I have an 07 Volvo 465 Volvo engine, I checked the air to air & every clamp to the turbo & it just seems to have lost power! I changed the air & fuel filters & have had no change! The truck is also CODE FREE! Anyone know what it could be??

I've driven a 11 volvo we had a prob like that too. Was a fuel injector... But it showed the code for it

How often do you change your oil? With these new emisson engines cloged oil filters can cause you to loose power...
-
I change my oil every 11,000-13,000 miles
-
Hmmm... Don't know that is about where I changed mine don't sound like that would be the problem (may be worth the price of a filter change at 7500 though) and noe codes either... Don't know, any funny noise or any thing?I am stumped!

I just changed both fuel filters just now, it seemed to help a little! And no, no funny or wired noises!

i think your engine must be a ved 12d, with dual egr valve, last gen of d12. a few think to check is a clog boost sensor, those engine make a lot of soot in the intake, so the boost me be stuck in range, also check the hose at the front of the valve cover this hose tend to crack. and a lack of boost will occur, the reed valve at the outlet of egr cooler can crack . instead to perform a basic air inlet pressure test, i suggest you to pressurize air to air and the intake at the same time, this way you can check for intake leak( sometimes, intake crack or intake bolts). be sure exhaust brake is not stuck in the close position.

325tahoess, hey buddy i have the same exact problem on my 2006 volvo 670 with d12c engine. this is what i already have changed egr#1, egr cooler, pressure checked the air-to-air cooler, changed boost pressure sensor, oil change and all filters, cylinder balance check and dyno all checked out good the only thing was that my engine is putting out 365hp instead 465hp. Now the mech. at volvo said "I cant justify it but I would put a set of injectors in" and I had another mech. tell me the same thing and I am probably going to do that after holidays but if you in mean time figure it out please post it here and I will do the same....thank you

I would reconsider putting in all new injectors, I had two of them changed and here in STL two injectors ran me about $4000. So if you can I would try to find someone who might be more knowledgable about the issue. I know that we all think the Volvo Mechanics know it all but they basically go by the book most of the time and that is not always the best way to go....
Is your loss of power constant or do you feel only going up hills, pulling heavier loads and so on....
And changing your injectors will probably not help, if the injectors were bad, or going bad, your truck would studder, shake, and not be able to pull at all! I only had two injectors go out and I could not move it properly to save my life... -
I've heard the epg could couse this to happen. Stuck closed or close to closed. On the exhaust side of the turbo.
