    Ill make this very short and sweet. Sighned on with Hirschbach, made 1800 pls bucks first week, then new operations Director says, NO MORE LAYOVER PAY/OR BREAKDOWN PAY FOR FIRST 24HRS AND NOW THE MAXIMUM IS 180.00 PER DAY WITH THREE DAY MAX. WAS 330.00 A DAY AFTER 12 HRS. ALSO CHANGED POLICY SO NO DETENTION FOR FIRST 24HRS. ARE YOU KIDDING ME- I SAT FOR THREE, YES 3 DAYS WITHIN A WEEK OF THIS NEW POLICY. I HAD JUST 11 DAYS WITH THE COMPANY. THEY SAID THEY COULD DO THIS DUE TO IT NOT BEING IN THE CONTRACT- I SAID WE BOTH SIGNED AN AGREEMENT TO ADHERE TO THE POLICIES AND THAT CHANGES HAD TO BE IN WRITTING AND A 30 DAY NOTICE GIVEN. LET ME EXPLAIN THIS TO ALL OF YOU. ANYTIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAPPENS IT IS A BREACH OF CONTRACT. ANYTIME THE CANTRACT IS CHANGED TO ADVERSELY EFFECT IN A FINACIAL MATTER AS TO BE ABLE TO PAY FOR THE LEASE THEN IT IS UNFAIR AND ILLEGAL. RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AND THERE NEW LEASE. THE OLD LEASE WAS GREAT, THE NEW ONE----THEY GET ALL THE POWER AND HAVE NO INCENTIVE TO KEEP YOU MOVING. PLUS THE NEW GUY-DAN WALLACE FROM WEL COMPANY- WELL, LETS JUST SAY WEL SENT THERE PROBLEM DOWN THE ROAD. LOOK AT PRIME OR SCHNEIDER ON A LEASE-YES THESE ARE MUCH BETTER IF YOU WANT TO BE YOUR OWN BOSS.

    They actually have an incentive to starve you. That way they can get the truck back while still keeping the money they already sucked from you.

    Yeah, this is why i used my 90 day return policy with not questions asked. Im sure they will try to hurt my dac. I made them an offer. I would not start a class action law suit if they would just leave me alone. And yes, i have the money to start it just dont want to use it that way.

    I'm sure they wont put anything on your DAC that isn't accurate. Sucks about the change in lease.

    Nothing unusual about nothing first 24 hours. Why should a "boss" pay you to NOT get your own truck fixed in a reasonable amount of time? A lease, in reality, is owner/operator, no matter how you choose to slice it or consider it, otherwise they are paying you illegally as a "contracted employee". But like was mentioned ... welcome to the wonderful world of "being your own boss". Be glad they pay lease operators ANY breakdown pay at all. The creator of the written agreement WILL ALWAYS work in their own favor and have the right to fix where they may have been too liberal with policy to remain competitive in the new Obamaville where few will rise up and many will fail.

    And just who are you with your "offer"? LOL Good luck on the lawsuit. You should get together with all of the other drivers here on TTR(probably all gone anyhow) that threatened class actions and see how theirs are going.

    I just stubbed my toe on my recliner a few minutes ago, and I have some money in the bank. I might sue Lazy Boy on behalf of all persons who have stubbed toes on their products. :biggrin_2559:
