yeah I only took this load going into Texas because I had a load coming out that would have me pass right through the house and was paying pretty #### good . but a break down caused me to lose that load out of Waco because I couldn't no longer pick it up on time since that happened I have had a hell of a time finding a load out of Texas cuz of x-mas

I was only going to take that $1.50 load to get be loaded and heading towards my house instead of sitting for another 2 days but it turned out that load the shipper was closed on Monday and wouldn't pick up till the day after x-mas so I told them never mind im going to try and find better paying freight the day after x-mas the load I lost out of Waco tx was paying 2.50/mile im kicking myself in the butt for having to give up that load

I got me a good paying load from Maine to Minnesota. Ive hauled the same loads before and they didnt pay this good. I guess a lack of trucks is sometimes a good thing.

North east customers are panicking over the possible port strike and paying decent rate on legal loads going out to the West coast port. I winded up with 26k lbs (if that) load / 1" high / tarp -heading out to southern CAL at a good rate. For those in that area - something to keep your eyes open for.

If you believe what people post on here, most drivers never venture north of Virginia. So you'll probably have those loads to yourself :)

True. I live in Brooklyn, so I'm pretty safe in case any squirrel / possum / roadkill eating, gun toting, hill billy, inbred, pick up driving board member ever have their dim lit pea brain idea to take me out. :biggrin_2559:

(If any or all remarks above resembles you or your family members, they are purely by mere coincidence and was definitely not looking at you / them at the time of this writing)
