glad i work for a small 300 truck operation, where they spend alomost no money in advertising.
Word of mouth is what brings drivers to them.
I myself learned about them via word of mouth, and in return, i have mentioned it to 4 other drivers , who now work for the same company.

Same in Sacramento, at least 3 ads a day for solo, team, lease op ect. Them and Knight refrigerated have been at it for at least a month.

The funniest thing is on the Knight ad it says' "Call quickly as these positions wont last long", :biggrin_25523: Apparently 4 weeks hasn't filled them all.

I'm sure US Express has beefed up their NE operation some. I know they bought the old Cressler Trucking terminal in Shippensburg when I was with Cressler. Funny thing was, I drove past it about 3 weeks after they moved in. Now, right where the road coming out from the terminal meets the main road that runs down to the interstate there a guard rail. If you make the right turn from the main road to the terminal road too tight, you are pretty much guaranteed to hit it. In my time with Cressler while we were at that terminal, I never saw a driver hit it. Well, 3 weeks after US. Exp. moves in that guard rail is torn up. Kind wrote that company off after that. :)

Heck, it doesn't really do much good to look on any internet website for trucking jobs. It seems to be, for the most part, the same 12 to 15 companies on all of them. Whether it's craigslist, nationaltruckdrivingjobs.com, or any of the others. And on Monster.com, looking for trucking jobs, will get you 500 ads from the national guard looking for "88Mikes".

Find a friend and ask him about a job.
