Yes,there is absolutely no American drivers involved in any accident. How about those crashed cr england, werner, swift,us express, covenant and many other trucks, how about those cars that cuts us of,making turns without turn signals, breaking with no reason in front of us?Don't tell me they all russians and eastern europeans in those vehicles
DriverToBroker and CenutryClass Thank this. -
And we have all those "wonderful" can haulers here in Southern California, along with all those NAFTA trucks. Soon as it rains in the slightest, you can count on numerous freeway closures, accidents etc. Fenders flapping, no plates, speeding, tailgating, no lights, multiple flats spewing rubber all over the place. And yet, they NEVER get stopped. I had one of our CHP officers tell me (Conejo Grade scales) that they don't bother due to no insurance, multiple licenses and "political correctness". Every time they DO try and crack down, "Jose" is in the newspaper screaming "racism"..Plus, the spokesman for the CHP is Hispanic and can barely speak English himself. Racist ? Not really, just the facts, look around out here and see for yourself next time your on the 60 or 605 or up the Grapevine.

I guess you are missing the point of this whole thread. Of course there are American drivers who have had accidents. But the thread is about how foreign trash comes to this country and wont maintain and aren't held to the same standards as the American drivers. If we do even half the crap they do, we'd be in prison.....not driving a few days later to do it again. I watched a lady yesterday at a fuel island wait patiently while four jerks speaking some foreign language stood at the back of the trailer blocking her in and held her up on purpose. They literally stared at her and basically challenged her to say something. While I have seen americans be selfish and block a fuel island, I've never seen an american be so blatantly confrontational about it. And when another driver said something to them, they treatened him. Took 2 other drivers and myself with my winchbar to threaten them enough to diffuse the situation. That happened in NW Ind near Chicago....surprise surprise.

as a former tow truck driver in Cheyenne, I know how dangerous it is on the roadways there... Not just the crazy people driving, but the weather also... Many times I have had to stop working due to weather and hole up in the sleeper for a few hours till it got safe to work ...'olhand Thanks this. -
Well i guess point of the tread is to offend all immigrants by labeling them as "trash"?

I got my CDL about three weeks ago. The day after I got it we headed west to get my trainer home for the holidays. I didn't get much winter driving in before I went and tested out so I had no real experience or training on handling a big rig in snow/ice. Since I now had my CDLwe were driving as a team, trainer was in the back sleeping after driving his shift from Missouri to Colorado. He said if it got too bad to wake him up and he would help me through it.
Going across Wyoming on 80 and it starts snowing somewhere around Elk Mountain. No problem I thought, it's not sticking to the road, temp was about 34 degrees according to the thermometer. We go a little further and there was a car pulled off the side of the road. The truck in front of me (at a very safe distance) hit his brakes. Next thing I know I could read FedEx on the side of his trailer as it started to jacknife. Luckily he caught it. "You might want to get up!" I yelled to my trainer, he got up and helped me the rest of the way. All the way into Salt Lake it was slicker than snot, coming down Parley's was fun!
Heading back east the next morning it was even worse. I was glad the guy I had hitched a ride with was driving. When we got into Nebraska we heard on the radio that they had shut down the stretch of interstate we had just come across.
I sure am glad I am getting my training in now when I have someone in the truck to teach me about driving in slick conditions. I would hate to be one of the guys that trained in summer and are having to figure this stuff out on their own. No wonder bad stuff happens.NavigatorWife and mattbh23 Thank this. -
Oh no, not at all. Only the ones who are trash.
I don't care when folks choose to come to the US. Without immigration, I wouldn't be here. But when they come, they agree to play by our rules. I don't care how they do things in the old country- they come here, they do things our way or pay the price. They learn our language, they follow our laws. Or they qualify as trash. And we call them out on it.DannyB, gearjammer42, Ruthless and 11 others Thank this. -
America you drive truck, in Russia truck ride you
