Heading For Little Rock! Maverick

Ive never been inside a Freightliner, so I dont know how much space there is for the creature comforts.

 

In Mavericks trucks there is plenty of room.

 

Thanks guys. The Pete 379 with 63 inch sleeper, was small but had enough room to live. The worst part, for me, was squeezing through the seats. Im only 5'7", 160lb. I cant imagine big guys.

 

I don't know if things have changed. I know on the 2011 the batteries are on a shared system. And you're supposed to turn off the inverter in the morning when you run your truck. That way the truck knows what's going with the batteries and it will charge the cranking batteries first then fully charge auxiliaries. That is per Freightliner. I have done it that way since the truck was new. And I've never had to replace a battery in over two years. My auxiliary air conditioner will run for over 12 hours and has never shut off.

I know some of you run refrigerators and run your inverters all the time. Maybe just shut it off for a hour and then turn it back on.

 

Hey guys, Jim, I know we just got through the holidays, but, is it normal to take this long to hear from Maverick recruiting on whether or not your application is approved?
The biggest reason I ask, is another carrier has already given me the green light to attend orientation. Maverick states they are waiting to hear fro prior employer, other carrier says they've already heard. Is this a bad sign?
