Winter Driving Hazard

    Now that we've had our second winter storm in southern Ontario I'd like to issue a friendly reminder to please slow down and drive with caution when passing the flashing blue lights.

    Yep, the plow guys have enough to worry about, especially on the two lane roads.

    Sometimes the plow guys have their CB's on and will tell you when it is safe to come around. That helps everyone out a LOT.

    Once you get up north most of them run with the CB. Not only good for letting you know when you can get around but they're usually pretty good on knowing the road conditions ahead.

    Also, when they're coming towards you on the two lane give them lots of room. They can't clear the center line if you're on it.
