LOL I seriously doubt these pads will stop a bullet. The gloves have the pads on the fingertips and palms, so when EMT's are pulling people outta wrecks and such, they dont get cuts and whatever....I use them because thats where my gloves always wear out first--fingertips and palms.I have used them on a trial basis, but I don't think I'll get them again. While they were EXCELLENT gloves, the 3 months they lasted me was not worth the $30+ price for one pair. Now it's time to try another set.

You do realize that kevlar is not 'cut or puncture" resistant. It will only stop a bullet, not a pointed or sharp object. Lots of companies use "kevlar" as a selling method as the name makes people think it is impenatrable.... which it's not. That is the 1st thing you learn at the LEO academy. Your vest will stop most bullets, but it will not stop a knife. granted, some vest now incorperate chain-nail in their use now.volvodriver01 Thanks this.

I know it is not impenetrable. But it does stop sharp edges from getting through. Sure if you slice it, it will penetrate. But it does the job. However, my intention was just to give the tips and palms a little extra life, which it did. Granted it wasn't much, and definitely not worth the price, but they were very good gloves if you didnt use them every daySHC Thanks this.

I wear good ol' craftsman mechanics gloves, if its really wet i'll wear those darn rubber dipped gloves from the truck stop I use to fuel in, but they get cold pretty quickly...

I always used the craftsman gloves as well, but my hands still got dirty. Mainly when they got wet, but it really used to pizz me off. I do have a few pairs on the truck tho for repairs and such. They are great for handling anyhitng that has spent the last 9 hours running on a engine

I love those gloves, mainly because they are tight fitting and no bulky, I can't do jack squat with a big ol bulky pair of gloves on...i'm useless, haha.

I'm a big fan of anything that keeps my fingers warm.
I'm a welder and can p/u a red-hot piece of steel with a pair of $5.00 leather welding gloves! They insulate either way hot or cold. Once my fingers get really cold, I might as well have a pair of 16 oz. boxing gloves on! I can't do squat. Welding gloves cost less than 10 bucks and can be had at H/Depot or T/Value for example.SHC Thanks this. -
The best is someone else gloves, with there hands still in them.
