Hey, guys I'm going to be doing a coolant flush tomorrow. Gonna warm the truck up drain the coolant, fill with warm tap water add casacade. let it turn for like 10 -15mins then flush, and then flush it with distilled water. Now my question is I am thinking about using the cat ELC coolant 50/50mix or the delo ELC 50/50 mix which one should I go with or any other ELC coolants you guys recommend? And what kind of water filter should I use? And I gonna take the Tsats out flush it with out them and replace it with new ones.

why are you wanting to flush it? oil cooler go bad or just cause? me personally, I would run the cat water filter and cat elc extended coolant. if you are going to flush it with t-stats out then I wouldnt warm it up, just drain old coolant, pull t-stats and fill with water and powder cascade(not liquid), let run 20-30 mins if system isnt too gunky, longer if system is contaminated, then open drain, put water hose in neck and let engine run while flushing through till it comes out clear, shut engine off and let drain, put t-stats in, change filter and fill w/new coolant. I have flushed many with the t-stats in though.

If there's gunk use restore or restore plus.

I personally prefer nitrite free ELCs. You don't get any sort of dropout with them, and they cool better than standard ELCs.

Thanks guys, I got another question I got a cold water leak on the water pump only leaks when the engine is cold, TA mechanic told me don't worry about it until it starts leak when the engine is warm. So should I wait till starts leaking when warm or just replace it now?

Is there possibly a better time than while the coolant is drained?

Really, your only like an hour away from having a new pump on. A cold leak is a warning. Put it off and it will bite u at the worst possible time.

Yep agree change that pump and flush with restore plus, follow instruction on restore plus bottle. Warm water is great idea just make sure you get engine up to running temp so that thermo state is open to allow full coolant/restore plus/water circulation, so as to ensure full system is treated.
