I applied for Averrit express driver training program, I was just at the 120 days since getting my CDL. My recruiter got the ok to go ahead with the application. I filled out the application got a call to come in for an interview. The interview seem to have gone good, I was told by the interviewer that I would hear from my recruiter in a couple of days. I waited two weeks and never heard any thing from her. I called and when they transfer me to the drivers recruiter section the girl answering the phone was rude. I asked if my recruiter was in and she replied maybe, she then asked who I was and of course I got voice mail. I left a message and stated it is obvious I didn't get the job but could you please call me back and let me know why. This way I can work on improving what ever it is, never got an answer. I worked for the state of CA for 18 years been retired for 6 years, do Real Estate part time I have a good work ethic. I never abused sick leave, always early for work, not tickets, one minor fender bender 2 years ago. I am 58 and overweight the weight does not effect my ability to work, not sure if it is my age or weight. I am at a loss if anyone has any similiar experience with averitt please let me know. Thanks.

they actually did you a favor. i worked there for several years. they treat everybody like crap. with that being said they most likely looked at your weight. but they would have made you perform a sleep study anyway so that really shouldn't matter.
