I'm not saying anything to anyone, it's not like you would be illegal or anything, it's just a BS Stevens thing. I do need a 2013 IFTA though. I guess they can Fedex me some if needed. If I do get to deliver this they can send me a load home before the yard as I need to be there before the end of month.

QC's amount to the single largest source of phone calls over all.
First of all, realize the new QCs don't work off sattelites anymore. They work off of cell towers and it appears they use the most uncommon network out there. How can a driver call me with a strong clear signal, yet their QC has none? Happens all the time.
Then there's the dispatch issue....load assignment goes out, but no routing or fuel stops.
Sorry, folks...weekend and night crews don't have access to that. You're on your own. Better be able to read a map.
Don't get me started on THAT one.
After the 20th call from a driver that couln't find their way from Denver to Holcomb today, one of my compatriots suggested that grad fleet drivers be given their cruise control but lose the navigo thing.
You cannot believe the number of drivers that can't figure a route from Amarillo to Ontario, CA without their navigo.
    Ok...rant over...for now.

    TRKRSHONEY and Corporal_Clegg Thank this.

Same here. I tried it once and was horribly slow. I had a regular car GPS that I used though. I would route myself using the map then punch it into the GPS and compare routes. If they differed I would go the old fashioned map route. I only used GPS as a helping hand.

Now I have a truck GPS and Im not so sure that its any better than the old $99 GPS that I had before. Luckily most of the places I go on a regular basis and know the routes.

Always listen to the repower requests. I picked up in Allentown on Thursday night, 5 stops, 1st in York, 2 & 3 in Louisiana and 4 & 5 in Texas LA, on Mon and TX on Tue... 1600 miles, nut 6.days. Got here to Hammond 21 hrs early and just got a repower request to make an Atlanta Delivery in the morning.

Sold! Preplan for a run to Laredo, so I should be empty in the, morning before this current load even delivers the 2nd drop.

Sometimes they work in your favor.

Well this is fun. Delivered at hunts point and have been empty since nine am. No pre plan, load assignment, call to ask how I'm doing.... nothing. I've made several calls and no one knows squat. Hurry up and wait I guess lol. The only silver lining is that after I woke up football was on and I am getting a great signal. At this point I'm just gonna ride it out and let my em know how much it sucks to empty out on Sunday.

Aside from all that. Ny is slowing becoming one of my favorite places to deliver.

I have a quick question for any one of the stevens drivers on here. Do they have a pet policy and what is the rider policy like?
