I have a 2000 379 with a 2ws 3406e. Just curious about bridging the wire harness with a 150 ohm 1/8 watt resistor.
I read in some forums that this (cheap) trick works. Just wanted to see what someone with the same motor (or someone who knows better) thought.
Thanks.

Anyway, there has been a large amount of posts made on this subject. Do a search and you will have plenty of reading

Since I haven't seen the video, Can you tell me if simply folding the ends of the resistor wires and plugging the single resistor into the plug is supposed to work??

Did you notice any change in mileage?

Bit rough but will do the same thing , only thing is the terminals and everything is open to the elements. May have trouble if you ever remove it! Have a look at the power harness thread alot if good reading there for youNextlvl Thanks this.
