Not really, but there were a lot of 200 to 300 mile runs. Miles were good but I made more in flatbedding with longer runs and tarp pay

Glad I could help. I will miss working there and especially my dispatcher. He was a really awesome guy and helped me a ton!

I worked at Roehl. They were pretty good but everything is a question. I didn't like the stress. We deal with enough as it is. They do have their krap figured out though. You sit for two hours give a call and something will get said. I started in van and moved to flatbed. Broke my thumb so they wanted to put a cam in the truck and I told them no. So they bought me a rental car to get my stuff home. But then when I got home I realized theat I was only approved for one visit to the doctor. The doctor said one more so the third party people roehl used at the \time told me I had drove myself home I must be fine. SO thats when I first got the scoop on how the real world was. Oh and from other company experience, to the greenhorn s I would say that you need to never believe any one that says to pick it up first and talk about it after the load is picked up. Dont do it. After you pick it up your stuck or you just quit under dispatch. take your pick.

i was glad to hear how after it slowed down after the frist of the year you did not bail. so many drivers do that now days, they dont understand the ups and downs of trucking and how every OTR company has a up period and a down period and i was very glad to hear you must have underdstood that, good job and good luck.

A buddy of mine just started with them a couple months ago and loves it. He has sent me pics of his pay and I'm envious to be honest. Only hang up for me is I live in the truck, ... with a 4 pound sidekick and they don't allow pets according to my friend. Otherwise I'd have an app submitted already. Sorry to hear about your Dad man, that part always sucks no matter what.

They say that, but I have heard that with a deposit you may have an animal. I don't know how much or if is even true so you can always call and ask. So as not to seem like a total hi jack. Drty I hope you stay in touch even in the life after Roehl thread or something.

hi guys im also starting with roehl this month and have done hours and hours of research on this company and have heard alot of great things about it at the moment they are trying to send me to Appleton WI for my training i told them i wanted to do flatbed in order to stay active but only have dryvan at the moment. as soon as flatbed comes available i plan on switching in a heart beat from your experience at DD were your miles decent enough to make a good pay with dryvan and has anyone trained in appleton and what was it like. glad i joined this forum cause theres alot of great truckers with great info hope to hear back from you guys soon
