If its a workable part unscathed from the wreck, why not use it...then perhaps the company can cut costs for the month. and a driver can get his/her pay..../bonus.......without trying to pry it out of them...

When I drove for CRST in the mid 80's those trucks would have been on the road.

Lookingup, I agree with you. However, I have seen parts being re-used that should have been scrapped too! More Covenant stuff; mostly hoods being put on that were cracked, just LESS cracked than the one being replaced. I realize that for a training company the trucks are going to look really rough, but when they finally get repaired, they should be repaired properly. Just my opinion.

That is one scary thought- especially looking at that burned up one.

Like most companies all of our terminals have wrecks sitting there. My issue is the wrecks they expect us to drive. Turned in my old truck for a newer one last week. Spent 5 days in cedar rapids waiting for them to fix the old wreck and it came out of the shop a basket case. The new one made it 15 miles before we shut it down for repairs. So far this month i am on day #16 of breakdown pay and counting. Sure would be nice to get one that will steer good.

Oh well almost out of contract so this nightmare is about done!

I don't see the difference between them and the ones running down the road
