    As far as cold goes there is no such thing. There is only a degree of heat. So in the north when it's in single digits or below we just say its not so warm today is it.
    its also all about having the right equipment.

    I had Lance Ware as my FM when I was there.. He always kept me on good miles and got me home when I needed it. I would recommend him to anyone. He was a driver before he became a FM; so he knows what we go through.

    Message came over the qualcomm to get another truck in Gary. I was excited until I saw it was a 2010. Really really hoped after a year with this 2007 we would at least get a 2012. The Newbies sure are lucky getting newer trucks. I guess I should be happy. We will be getting an APU and inverter. But I'm losing my air ride seat and bunk for a 2010.

    2010s are good trucks, no DEF to deal with. Loosing a bunk, not worth it even if you were getting a 2012. I don't know how two people could sleep in that one small bunk.

    BTW, Seawheeler was on the Free Wheelin' show yesterday. This is the truckers channel on Sirius Radio's Road Dog channel. I was trying to win a blue tooth head set, no luck.

    I quit listening to freewheelin when they started extolling the virtues of the dear leader. Those two are wildly left libs and I cant listen to them very long. If I wanted politics Id listen to a political channel.

    Sometimes I really shake my head at what I call "monkey see monkey do" drivers. Tonight in the truckstop a driver failed to pull fully forward in his parking spot thereby taking his spot and the one behind him as he was in both. It wasnt long before the entire line of trucks was parked the same way because instead of paying attention to where the lines were painted they just stopped next to the first truck. So which driver is dumber? Lol
