twin screw 2011 cascadias, some 2012's and some 07 columbias (like 3). Also have a single axle prostar day cab with a 30 foot reefer that a local guy uses, but hes been with the company for so long he runs solo and does only a few deliveries then goes home

they're leased through ryder. All powered by 475 cummins, governed to 70

    pulling 48' tri-section reefers

we get these trucks into places that we have no business being. The sleepers on the trucks are 36" so the Wheelbase is very short.

Just got done with my first day with the trainer at work today and everything went really well. I have to go to the safety meeting tomorrow just like everyone else and I get my truck Monday to go out on the road. They uses XATA with a droid phone for logging and push 2 talk, although some people are still on paper logs. We don't get paid by the mile we get paid 26% gross of the load. It also looks like your usually out for two days at a time and just report back to work the next day although sometimes you can be out longer or you can request to stay out. Kutzler Express is a small company of only 150 trucks and 7 trailers per truck but so far it seems like a really nice company.

Also I don't have required fuel location other than I have a book of fuel locations I can only use. As far as directions I'm given them but apparently I don't have to follow them.

DD seems like more rig than needed for local work. But what do I know. At least you don't have to worry about snow banks!!

Well, its more southeast regional than local. They'll keep me local for a few weeks then start giving me longer runs. We go all the way to texas and up to indiana and south carolina.

So thats why we have sleepers and 3 axle trucks, that and we run teams. We always run about 35k-44k lbs in the reefer in florida since 44k lbs is allowed on a tandem set. When we go out of state we are legal on all axles and usually have a backhaul.

Im actually not sure of the engine specs but loaded to gross that cummins ISX15 will start out in 5th gear and accelerate as if nothing is behind it.

I went to Orlando today, tampa yesterday. Wasn't too bad.
