Yep, another driver, another thread. Nothing exciting to start this off with yet but I leave in a few hours to head west. Get to the hotel later tonight and check in. Return the car tomorrow, and start orientation Mon morn. Didn't get any pics of the truck yesterday after all, but meh, a black 2012 t660. Almost has to be in great shape .Just hoping it's cleaned up and all as I've been labeled as extremely OCD when it comes to my truck. I can only see this condition getting more extreme since it will be buying it. But hey, it's my house and I like a clean house .... inside and out, ... so sue me :biggrin_25525:

I doubt I will be posting here as much as others in other threads but at least I won't be hijacking the other threads with my antics.
    Update Later.

Thanks ld. I don't normally post much once I'm back out there, so this thread will not be nearly as active as some of the others.

I will say as a sort of introduction. I'm 48 years old, single, and literally live in the truck. So ... I have been known to stay out months at a time. I have no house, apt, or personal vehicle. I don't need them and got rid of those things I considered "dead weight". So my monthly expenses are far lower than alot of folks, and I don't have the home time requirements as some do. Some may ask as to why I don't just go buy a truck as opposed to this lease/purchase. Well, the short story is that my credit, after three divorces, does not allow me that option. This point in my life is actually the best time for me to attempt this, and I'm intent on succeeding in doing it. I'm a 500-600 mile a day guy if the miles are there. I keep the doors closed. I keep food and a means to cook it in the truck rather than spend money on fast food joints/restaurants. Stop at a Wally Mart or Aldi to re-supply. I take a 10 hr break because I have to. I shower, eat, and go to sleep during that time, not hang out in the game room or blab on the radio.. I drive 10.5 plus hrs anytime I need to. Day, Night, I don't care. Do a restart wherever I happen to be. In short. I drive, not play. A nice quiet comfortable clean truck and miles is all it really takes to keep me happy. Pretty simple kinda guy really.

Wow. Your just what they are looking for there, there's no way you can fail with the drive you have. You should outdo big kid and all of em there. Wow, will be so interesting to see all the great runs you get and drop and hook and everything, you'll probably profit 2k a week alone the way describe yourself. You go get em twiggy and tell em bk sent ya lol. Your going to set the world on fire the way you run. Do you gamble like bk and if you do you'll have thousands to wager the way you are going to run. Well good luck and can't wait to hear all the gravy runs you'll get. Go get em!

WTH? Blanche.. In BK thread you asked for help/info to assist your husband away from JCT and driving with/for ACT..

I know that you had several drivers PM you with information. (Myself included) Now you seem angry, especially towards BK?

I'm curious why you are consistently attacking ACT's post? Is it personal? Has someone inadvertently offended you? Is it jealousy? I know/believe you stated your husband didn't have enough experience (recent?) to go solo immediately with ACT, but he could come on board, go with a "trainer" for a few weeks and go solo?

I'm just wondering what your objective is? If its simply to imply BK gets preferential treatment with load selection..ok, I agree.. And most likely anyone that has read his thread will also...That being said, he deserves it..He found a way to put drivers in ACT's trucks and at the same time made alot of money doing it..It was a win for ACT and BK..alright it's been said, now move on.. The lil snide comments are getting old..

Good job BK.. I'm jealous, I wish that I had thought of using TTR.. :)
