Check with Arnold also, owned by USX and a SE regional company
-
USX terminals don't run set regions. You could have it for a home terminal but if your in the OTR division your sent wherever they need you to go. There is regional fleets like with Arnold like Craig said. But I've seen quite a few Arnold trucks up here in NY lately so they might be expanding their range...or could be a fluke thing who knows
-
Don't know exactly why, but this USX may be burning through their driver force at amazing speed.
When the most recent figures show a national scourge of job hopping(130+%)this might be the baseline company helping that along.
Beware and ask questions, recruiters normally are elusive, less asking about for example real reasons for attrition. This carrier until otherwise proven is considered hands off, IMHO period -
Uh, yeah. Take this guys advice instead of drivers who work at USX. Brilliant.
I do know USX runs a regional fleet in the NE, they may in the SE also. You could also look into running dedicated which would keep you close to home.unloader Thanks this. -
Ok thanks for the help. Im wanting to do dedicated or regional out of Tunnel Hill Ga (near Chattanooga). Just didn't know if the that terminal ran the NE or SE regional lines
-
You won't be running anything out of any terminal. They are basically just service centers.
Dedicated runs come out of a customer's DC.
Your "home terminal" only dictates what time zone is used for your logs.
