CDL general Knowledge Practice Test Congratulations, your score is: 110

Are the written tests really this simple? I don't know jack #### about driving trucks.. but got that score in the second try.

For a class B truck with no air brakes, sure. But even for a straight truck job, you're going to need to pass the air brakes test. And before you take the driving test, you are going to have to do a Pre trip inspection as part of the test.

Is there any way to actually get the test you'll be taking somewhere online. Are they all the same standard tests?

All of the test are multiple choice! they are simple, usually you can eliminate 2 of the choices right away with the last two you are looking for the "most correct" Looking at the link you provoded the question were standard type questions. There are enough site out there that have sample questions so there is NO need to pay for these unless you have an extra 30 bucks laying around! Just grab the book from the DMV and study. You should do fine.

Easiest thing is to get your states CMV handbook. Most test questions are similar to the study points at the end of each section.. at least in Texas

I agree. Study your states DMV book. Quit looking for ways to get the answers to the questions online and study up and learn the material. If this is going to be your profession then treat it as such and learn the material. :biggrin_25519:

Most straight trucks have a GVWR of under 26,000 LBS; so a CDL is not needed to drive one.
