I don't know why England gets so many bad reports but every time I turn around I see another post that says to stay away from them. I guess it would behoove me to listen.

Well, hard to suggest any because I am not in your area. best bet is try Craigslist Transportation Jobs section. I am not familiar with your area. There are tons of companies that don't advertise jobs. Using craigslist I have found a large amount of smaller companies ranging from 1 to 100 trucks.

I understand now. You shouldn't have a problem as long as no fatality with last incident. I don't know who pays the most. I wouldn't go with Schneider unless teaming. They are putting sensors on trucks that won't allow idling between certain temps. Get a company with APU's.

I'm sorry I am unfamiliar with the term APU. What does that mean?

An APU has a alternator, freon compressor, water pump on it. It keeps the tractor ready for action while keeping driver comfortable. It has hoses that run to the main power plant to keep it warm. It keeps the main tractor batteries charged so it will start. It also has big inverter under bunk so driver can hook up the game boy, tv, stereo, and such. If I have to live in a tractor for weeks at a time, it will be equipped with an APU. Uses very little fuel too.

I agree with klatu you should look for the best fit for you I plan on going to prime because of their NE regional lanes and their pay is one of the better paying companies that takes on students or recent graduates I tried schni but the want me to take a refresher I just don't have that kind of money to take the course eventually Schneider is the goal but I have to put in my dues of you will

Did I hear you properly poisonarmy? Schneider wants you to take a refresher course even if you had just finished school?

Yes but it's due to my hiring area and number of hours logged in training and experience level don't let that stop you I still apply there often

CR England is bad stay away from them. Read the reviews of them and the posts there are very few good things about them use caution with them and alot of red flags go up also with them.I haven't heard anything good about them yet.
