Question about swift

    Hey guys, I'm considering starting my career, again, at swift. I have never been arrested, dont drink or do drugs and I've had many jobs in the last 10 years. I do, however, have crappy credit. Does Swift do credit checks and will a bad credit score affect my chances of going to work for them? Thanks for any and all replies!!

    I don't believe that would be a killer. I had terrible credit when I started there. Now it has been a few years though so things could have changed, but I doubt it

    Companies are only concerned with people who have arrest records that go along with their bad credit. It implies that such a person would steal the cargo to live well beyond their means. Poor credit WITHOUT an arrest record means nothing to any company. Don't worry about the credit at all. In your case, the poor credit is meaningless.

    been seeing alot of bad publicity bout this company lately...not telling you to stay away from them...but just make sure u look into to them alot before your decison...and just my opinion....even with bad credit....you can do alot better....good luck

    I got a call from Schneider today. They set me up for a phone interview for tomorrow. What do you think my chances are with them? I haven't read too many bad things about them and would rather start there?
