Do you have a part number or better description for the reed valve and filter? I like to get one as well.

here's the part#s reed valve#sn3711aj air filter kit#278500n replacement air filter from car quest #87714. mis quoted the price $48 for reed valve, $27 for air filter kit. $7 for replacement filter. recomend replace at 25000 miles or when it looks dirty. the filter kit comes complete with filter and cover. 2 bolts holds everything on. and plug the fitting hole in head.

another reason not mentioned for moving the intake is that the compressors are only rated for so much boost pressure. once you go over that you can damage or shorten the life of your compressor , push oil into your air system , etc.. that info is from Bendix. have run a 3406 and a series 60 and have had no problems on either. external air cleaner on the compressor as well as plumbing a line to the air cleaner. both worked just fine.

He stated purchased at Carquest. Not the cheapest but good customer service and you can go to about any of the others and they can cross reference to their part numbers. Like ORiley's and AutoZone

What does the reed valve do? Is it necessary to (use or change) it when putting on the air filter for the compressor? Thanks
