Landstar doesn't have an age limit as long as you have an electronic engine.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.. these loads have have posted are from combind transport and as you can see I am sitting and not hauling cheap freight.. I will send Bill a e-mail or call him in the morning. Do they do oversize stuff also or do you have to find most of your own freight?

Just got out of Houston for exactly $3/mi today. Houston! The local truckstops are filled with half the U.S. platform fleet. And I'm lazy. I didn't crawl out of the covers this morning until 8am.

    Logan76 and Jerry82 Thank this.

assuming that you would fill your tanks(at 100 gallons both sides @ about 4.80 a gallon) ,lets say three times. So now we are at an average of $960 X 3 = $2,880(that will leave some to spare) now we need to get oversize and over weight permits.far fetched but lets say another $800.Now at $3680.00.
Then theres the Tolls once you get to Chicago so add another (lets see $245.00 all the way up to VT.)
That puts us at a total of $3925.00 So with the headaches of only having a two hour window at both pick ups and stops that leaves you with a profit of$1601.00 but it wont be easy money.

I guess if you are good with making 1000 a week then these are the loads for you. If you have a breakdown now you have no money aside to fix a you go at least a week making no money to pay for repairs
