Dear Dynasys APU Customers:
We have determined that a potential safety risk may exist with our Dynasys auxiliary power units (APUs). Because at Hodyon the safety of our customers is our top concern, we have issued a product safety recall on all Dynasys APUs installed to date. We have already taken steps to notify affected owners, and that process continues. We are also in process of detailing a technical repair process and instructions. In the interim, we ask that all owners discontinue use of your Dynasys APU system until further notice. We will provide all affected owners and all Dynasys dealers with an update as soon as available, expected by Saturday, January 19th, 2013.

We urge you to take these actions immediately:#1. Do not operate your Dynasys APU#2. Disable the APU system to prevent operation#3. Please contact Dynasys customer service at (800) 289-8282 ext. 3 so we can discuss with you a process to disable your APU system and answer any questions you may have

 

Maybe tricks or tips you know to make life on the road easier. A list of decent places to eat with truck parking. Maybe recipes for cooking on the truck. Like a misc. section.

 

I like that idea about sharing places and things to make it easier out here

Been at Stop 2 for 5.5h now.

Prolly going home for a few days after I drop this load.
Officially haven't been Home since before Christmas.... I did get 1.5 days around the 2nd, since I had a load delivering 30ml from Home.

 

I just switched loads other night with 269 that has a dynasys and told me he had same issues. We need to let Mark and Don know ASAP. We need a better write up for trailers on QC to drop them and better paper trail. I am on a 34 reset. I come back tomorrow am. I sent a message yesterday said i am parked to do my 34 reset and someone needs to call me if i get a load as i will not be in the truck. I stopped back by to make sure the truck was secure and grab my pillow and blanket and seen someone sent a message are you ready for as load now??? Is it me or is someone having a hard time interpretting basic info we send over QC? This is a major breakdown and its with many issues. When I was spending all day tuesday getting my truck and apu serviced I got a call from a broker not the QC message and it picked up at night, now if i been up all day getting service I am not able to pull a all nighter. sorry my safety means more. more attention to detail on service should of been paid attention too. My APU was serviced after my truck and I think that was the breakdown. I had a alternator go out on my APU and service cost almost 1k. and over 4 hours, not happy but it is Atlanta. Daniel, you just want the website info topics or operations suggestions too? or maybe a suggestionsx box for company ideas in general??? Driver Awards, Internet and Cable TV in Terminal in MS.Trailers available and OSS log, Trailer locations, pet policy outline, internet in trucks??? I think we have the rest.

 

unloaded 5 pallets at the con agra world headquarters in downtown omaha.i mean i was downtown.4 blocks from the towers.10th street.had to jack knife to the left then jack knife to the right to get into their dock.right off of the street back into their covey hole.i was on my game on this one.it only took about 30 try's.i felt good about that.i thought it would take all nite.after i parked in the door last nite for an early am del.i walked around downtown for awhile.great city,had a blast.this is why i like the crazy stuff.u see things that u wouldnt other wise see.now i have to let my leg recover from all the work
