Schneider student pay

The VA is back logged its taking months to get it. I got my book expenses I guess we still get that SNI said all my hours where turned in and I'm still waiting they owe me 5 months now. The OC are a PITA to get in and out of the waits can be annoying. Then the trainers have known to give drivers flack for shoes and getting in and out of trucks so I don't like being watched so I just stay away.

Do they pay once a week during orientation and do they pay 80/day when you're out on the road during second week or mileage? Thanks

 

technically you arent hired til you recive your driver number so you wont see anything til the week following that. Then again , they've changed how they do orientation and road training. Ask your recruiter or maybe someone who was more recently hired can give a better answer.

 

As of last fall you are hired on day two or three of training, then receive first weekly payment toward end of 2nd week. 80 a day including when on the road with TE in 2nd week.

 

How do you enroll in the OJT with the VA, is there a form to fill out on the vonapp or does the company have a form ,

 

Nope I lived 20 miles outside some range they needed or something LOL

The second Friday I received $500 and did so for every week I was there.

There is a form you need to fill out. The OC you're at has a person thats suppose to check it then they fax it to green bay and they do the rest it was pretty simple to do.

 

Did they pay you by check or do they offer direct deposit? I'm hoping to head down to Fontana next week to start my orientation. I just need to get my drug tests done!

 

Direct deposit not, sure but I don't think they do checks. For some reason I'm thinking direct deposit or it goes on you EFI card or what ever our new fuel card is called.

 

When I went through orientation they had us fill out a direct deposit form. For my guest two checks I got a paper check in the mail. After that was direct deposit.

There is also the option of having the entire check weed to an account on your fuel card that you can then access from any ATM.
