Shower credit fail

    Unfortunately and on occasion, I've gone in to get that shower only to find it was missing - not logged.. I have asked why? I'm told that there are technical problems at the pump, Loves is where it started, haven't had it occur else where.. yet

    A fuel receipt is proof if needed whether your'e paying or its company paid.

    Oh man that sucks. I had happen once at the Pilots and after that always check my receipts for showers and points. Its been 2 years since I used Loves they were alright.

    They also drop off after 7 days if I remember correctly. The problem is with the loyality card. Love's seems to have more tech. problems and lack of caring in fixing, if you ask me.
    Because of things like this, I try to fuel at Petro and TA.

    Petro and T/A is my choice, Loves and the others are my last resort for fuel or anything.

    Loves redid the computer system late last summer, and has been having problems since then. Keep the fuel receipt handy and make sure the points get added as well.

    My runs have changed so I don't get by the good ones very often anymore.

    I have had a shower missing from time to time but I have never had a problem getting a shower. If I remember right, FJ and Pilot is where it happened most.

    The loves issue seemed to coincide with requesting a cash advance. For some reason the computer was dumping points and shower credits when a cash advance or product purchase was requested through the pump. A software glitch. Seems to have been fixed now

    It was more than the advance issue, it was also the time of the day, I liked to fuel in the wee hours, and the computer was being updated or whatever.

    I had to get my points added at the next stop and also had to use the fuel receipt to get a shower at the next place. I started fueling at PFJ and Petro/TA because of where I ended up at the end of the day, or where it worked to fuel when a place wasn't so busy.

    I have had that happen a few times. I was always able to get a shower from the cashier even without a receipt. They have the power to do that for customer service. Just ask politely and don't chew them out.
