    I don't think we'll go any lower. It's all about fuel economy... thousands of small trucking companies went out of biz during the recession because the fuel bill bankrupted them.

    yeah, i know too heavy on the fuel peddle. i know they want good fuel economy, but sheeesh, 5miles an hr.:biggrin_25510:
    but seriously the optimum speed is 55 to 62mph right?

    Yeap, But if you can get over 8 mpg, I dont think they will say anything. I know when I run mty I will run faster as long as I am getting those higher MPG.

    I only run fast when I have to... otherwise its just fast enough to get where I'm going with enough cushion in case something happens. Don't want to be late!
