Have any pictures you would care to share?
-
Oscar the KW Thanks this.

Looks like Volvo VN, they make 6x2 FH cabovers too.
-
Do you have any pics from above without a trailer? What brand of lift axle did you put in? I am thinking when one of my rears gives me trouble of doing this, along with the front axle on my trailer.
-
i put a drop center trailer axle on the front.
i lift it by:
1. dump air out of airbags
2. tighten up two 2 inch straps, see pic 3
3. close manual air valve , located at rear or truck, to close off air to front set of bags
4. open manual air dump valve to allow any extra air to escape
5. reinflate suspension from cab
6. rear axle picks up front and the two 2 inch straps hold it up.
5 minutes tops for both the trailer and truck and i'm going down the road on 3 axles.
hope this helps. johnny281ric and Oscar the KW Thank this. -
So what did you pick up for mpg by doing this?
-
1/2 mpg. i posted to your steer gear question but i got a message it had to be approved by a mod. ????????????
Oscar the KW Thanks this. -
Not sure why it said that, I can see your comment on there.

No big deal its like a random drug test, they do that once in awhile to prevent spamming, once a mod checks they post it
