    One thing I forgot to mention is that AGM batteries will not fail abruptly like regular batteries.There power diminishes gradually.

    There was a thread in the garage section months or even years ago some guys were claiming to get 6+ years out of optimas. If that is the case they are much better and well worth the price compared to any batteries I've ever had.

    I've run Optimas for years in all kinds of applications. They are generally great batteries. The best price I've found them for is always at Costco.

    'olhand: Good post, I was just about to post the same thing. I've been getting batteries for years from them (Garden tractor, ATV, motorcycle, Auto) they have everything. I just replaced my 4 tractor batteries last week for $240. :biggrin_25519:

    Wouldn't recommend it without a battery isolator.

    You deep cycles will draw down at a different rate and the the batteries will draw from each other to balance voltage.

    Match set is what you want.
