truely feel for you brother, i still have the nightmares sometimes myself, and i've been out for 3 years now, i was a marine in force recon. I also agree with the 3 month waiting time, i waited myself for 6 months and i've just recently graduated from a private school and have a job offer with schneider, just to let you know that it is possible. keep your head up, and things should start working out.

Interesting thread man. I've been out of the truck for over 4 years and looking forward to getting back in. Me, I'm doing thing in reverse order, 3 years in the truck 4 years in the Army as a fobbit and man, my best scare the heck out me dreams involve jackknifing in Dubuque . My military nightmares are usually the jacked-up uniform dreams( Class- A's with a wizard hat , desert camo lederhosen, high heals with pt's for a platoon run).

Some things are best left private.

So many good replys!
Mine still haunt me sometimes but not so much now. Back then there wasn't an official name for it and we all just thought something was wrong with us. There's nothin' wrong with us! Nam era vet in south America awhile. Never went to Nam., did a gig in Iq tho 08-09 working for an ODA, SF Ranger outfit. Sons a light inf. platoon SSG. with a bad case of PTSD for good reason after 3 tours getting bloody, but still functions fine. Maybe this will help...the mission is be quiet and maintain! Get on with your life and stop thinking about stuff ya can't do anything about. Burn the cds, photos, etc. Bury the bad stuff and move on.
Easy to say, not so easy to do I know, but you are probably more in tune with yourself right now, than you ever have been.
Just don't tell em what they don't need to know. You will do fine!
God loves a soldier!,,,and so do his brothers. Welcome home!
BTW, 12345,,,that looks alot like a set of quad .50s in a duce-n-a-half to me ! Haven't seen anything like that in years.

Thank you all for the replies. Obviously I don't want to Jeopardize anyone's safety on the road including my own. I have 3 kids of my own and a wife that I plan to come home to. I take it then the advice is to not tell the examiner? What happens though if I get in a wreck (my fault or not)? Wouldn't they then check medical records? I just don't want to have this come back to bite me or the company. I was reading though that my doctor and therapist can write letters stating that I am fit for duty. What are the chances the Examiner would disqualify me anyway?
