That is a lot of wipes. I buy mine by the case at Costco. I use a lot of them but not nearly that much. I use a package a week.
Are baby wipes tax deductible?

Yeah I will start buying them in bulk.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
I use them all the time; door handles, urinal handles, in the restroom stall. Studies have shown there is feces on everything including cell phones, fuel pump handles, items on store shelves, even the utensils at the buffet. Lots of nasty people never wash their hands and leave their trail everywhere.
platinum, Mattchu and NewNashGuy Thank this. -
I buy my husband the adult wipes which are bigger, work better and cheaper. It causes less questions from the IRS and they are cheaper in bulk on some medical websites. Allegro medical is the cheapest. I buy the Prevail adult wipes.

Anything related to trucking is tax deductible.but you better have the proof if you get a audit.
-
Your auditor was an idiot. I've deducted a reasonable amount for such things every year with nary a peep from the IRS.volvodriver01, aiwiron and Sly Fox Thank this.

I claim roughly $5,000 per truck per year on cleaning supplies which include baby wipes also. Never peep. I must be lucky...

I am still fighting the IRS. Be going to appeal shortly.

Anything related to your job is tax deductible, but to save a lot of headaches and audits, just claim a %of it.say you spend 100.00 week on cleaning supplies, gloves, special clothing etc etc etc, claim just 90-95 % of it.Avoid the headaches and audits and going thru appeals etc etc etc.keep raising red flags and your gonna just have stress and headaches all the time.10-4
