    Hi all,
We are not new to the industry but new to over the road,My man has been OTR now for 6 mths.Me and the kids are slowly adjusting, still not loving it though. The last 2 mths have been better, but, what I put that man through before that,OHHH LORD!!!!LOL.How are families dealing with the time and distance issues?Do you ever really get used to it?

    Thanks

There is a thread on here named "Ladies Room", that will be beneficial to your circumstance.

It can take some time. I've been back OTR for about 1.5 years now and my wife is home with our kids while I'm out. It was hard for the kids at first but they get used to it. It's important to have regular contact though. I try to talk to them all each night before bed if I can. Check out the above posters suggestion as there are many truckers significant others that post here as well.
