Exactly right. People in the business of buying and selling expect to at least double their money,and some mark up several hundred percent. I don't know how many owners I've met do a pretty good job at calculating expenses such as fuel,insurance,fuel tax,highway use tax etc ,but seem to forget about a return on an investment of a hundred thousand dollars or more.

 

Haul the heck out of it Blanche. The sooner your kind goes under ,it will benefit all the others.

Let's think here, I have a large broker company and I have a fleet of O/O leased under my authority, now I've got a load that pays $2.75. Well maybe I will broker it out to my sons smaller company and then bring it back at $ 1.90. Hmm. . . Now that would never happen!
