You will have to take the test in MO, unless you have your own truck, or have a truck to test on. Then you will have to pay your own way to and from WI. Besides, you take the test in MO and then you get on a trainers (TNT) truck. I don't even think Prime will let you do the test anywhere else. But hey, its worth asking the question.

Yes, there is the fee at DMV when you go to get your license, I think its 75.00 but Im not totally sure. Also I doubt you will have to retest in WI, as all your doing is transferring the license, best to ask your local DMV to be sure though.

I just finished my first day at orientation in Springfield. They will check you for sleep apnea if your neck is larger than 17" and BMI 39. You can check your sugar by buying a diabetes home tester at any pharmacy. So far so good here.

You probably have been tested. Have you ever had to fast before taking a blood test? That's for blood glucose levels, and those levels would tell a doctor to check further.

If you're worried, find someone with a blood glucose meter (which would be anyone with diabetes). A drop of blood on a test strip, and they could tell you if you're in the normal range or not.

I'd like to see this BMI calculator that gives you 26 when you state you are 6'5" and 300lbs. Every chart I see say 35

just got off the scale, 289. the one some listed on here said 30, which is incorect. i use to have it checked all the time at the gym, now i havent been in 7-8months and have gotten some flab back in my gut, but its about muscle vs fat. i know guys that were shorter and had probably 20-30lbs on me that had a true bmi in the low 20's

EDIT: its in the sleep apnea thread,

Hi , everyone I have been checking out all of the companies and I really like what I have learned about PRIME.I just put some apps in 4/5 days ago so far CRST has contacted me .I really dont think they are what Iam looking for, with that said I will tell you alittle about myself . I am 39 5'10'' 200lbs dont smoke dont drink or do street drugs I have been on pain meds before and I believe they was narcotic not sure though but I no longer need them I had a felony around 95/96 for child support I have paid off all of that back in 97 and have never owed again I have never been in a wreck or had any tickets or dui charges. I worked in heating and air trade from 1990 to 1999 for 2 companies then I worked for my brother for cash till 04/05 .I started to have a problem with my feet and legs and couldn't stand and crawl under houses so I applyed for temporary disability and recieved it a few years ago.So now I have ben doin rehab and have talked with my dr and he thinks driving would be a good choice.

I have seen suggestions in this post about dressing "business casual" at orientation, etc. Yet don't pack way too much stuff. I would tend too think that dressy button down shirts will get pretty wrinkled & you will look like a complete scrub when you are living out of a duffel bag. Also you would end up carrying along a pair of dressy shoes. Is it really necessary to dress like that? I mean this is training to be a truck driver... Do they really look down on you if you actually dress like a truck driver? I understand that you shouldn't wear dirty stained ripped up jeans & shirts.
