Kmac.....did everyone need their W-2's I don't have any of mine from the last three years.......and I didn't file last year due to working under the table for a guy who owned his own business.....I still put that down on my work history, when I called Shalonda she said I wouldn't need my W-2's.....so should I not even go? I don't want to make it through the school and then have to own them a bunch of money and not have a CDL

You will notice in the article that if you click on the picture then click the picture again, it is a 7700 series tractor. On the door is a contractor emblem. A 7900 series trailer. A L/O trying to earn some extra cash.

You will definitely need something to verify employment. I was not employed for the previous 2 years so I had to supply letters from 3 people explaining that I had been a 'rider' with my husband from 11/2008 - 08/2010.

The recruiter I had talked to said they had already verified employment, ugh I am so #### confused and need to leave very soon to go to a truck school......Ive been denied with Millis, Roehl, Central Refrigerated, can't go with FFE cuz you have to be a TX resident......I am running out of options. I don't have my W-2s so I guess I am screwed and the recruiters flat out lie to you saying you don't need it.

Stevens can be very anal about proving past work history. People with easily verified work history sail thru. Those with situations like yours with under the table work, gaps in employment with no verifiable reason, or people who left a company then the company went belly up and there is no contact seem to have trouble when they get to orientation.
Not to say you will have this problem, just be aware that it does happen and people do get sent home for these reasons.

Someone outside the trucking industry... this is a HEAVILY regulated industry and I believe it is the Dept of Homeland Security that requires the thorough checks.

I finally got a load... way too much time on it, but it has some good points... 2000 miles, only one pick up, one delivery and I can finish a reset before I pick up...

You take what you can get at times like these.
