Deciding between Millis and Mcelroy

GA regional is the largest and we have guys living in GA, AL, TN and SC. Eden, NC has regional, so does Trenton, OH. IL has regional but I don't know much about it and we have a growing regional fleet in the DFW, TX area. I live 100 miles from either Cartersville or Albany, GA and right off I75.

MILLIS looks at where you live and if they can't get you home they won't take you. If you live near a freight lane or near customers you should be good to go.

 

Hmm.. Im like 30 miles north of Nashville.. but we just relocated from California in Dec... So my family is pretty open to relocating anywhere in the future. Start school on the 4th in Cartersville .... so Im getting way ahead of myself.. but thanks for the info!

 

Not sure about the Nashville area for regional but it can't hurt to ask. It is a good area for otr though.

 

Im fine with OTR.. I want to get the experience.. but I do have 2 little ones and the wife is baking another one ( FINAL ONE!!!) so.. in the future might be something to explore. I have family in the Atlanta area so I wouldnt even mind moving. Thanks L.B. for the info...

 

L.B. I park my truck 2 minutes from kronospan in eastaboga and have never went there. I usually go to Cherokee or courtland

 

Really? oh you're OTR aren't you? I guess you can't scale those loads even though I never go over a scale. Where do you park? The first thing that came to mind was the Landstar parking lot across the street.

I take loads out of Kronospan to Ringgold all the time, usually after delivering in Alexandria.
