Oh my!!! I could not figure this out to save my life!!! I appreciate you interpreting it.
I have been looking at Trucks around and I could not figure why an 2007 was so much less then an 2008 with about the same miles per year, I mean I am calculating 125000 miles per year, they were much less... this is why they are a boat anchor after 2013

Not necessarily a boat anchor, but would require the PM filter to keep running in CA. I bought a 2005 with a 2004 engine few years ago and determined in my case and for my application that even with adding a PM filter...if they didn't change the laws by then...was cheaper in the long run than buying a 2008 truck.

I have heard several mechanics say you are choking the engine with that filter and with it having mid-range mileage that you will just push it to dropping a valve or turning a main. This is just what I have heard not seen just heard. Thanks again.

the EGR is like sticking a tube up your butt and breathing. The DPF is just putting a cork in the tube.

How well do you think the engine is going to work.

MNdriver I would have never said it so eloquently(Thank God for spell check) as you did! I ha e another question for you MND!

I want to know what the difference is between a Columbia and a Cascadia? Or should I ask in another location? Thank You.

Mods can move it I think from this point forward....

    As I see and understand.

Size of radiator, Columbia is smaller. (I know the hoods are majorly different.)
Hoods contour lines on the hood blend back well into the doors.

Cascadia hood is a POC. I had a deer hit with mine, a couple weeks later, I went and opened the hood. The glue holding the hinge on for the Cascadia let loose and I was hosed for opening the hood for 2 weeks till I got back to the shop.

Headlights are much larger on the cascadia.

Cab/sleeper wise, the doors are a bit bigger. Seat is a bit bigger and feels to be a slight bit more inside the door for more elbow room. I know in my Century, you feel behind the wheel. I can also rest my elbow on the window ledge and feel centered on the steering wheel. In my Cascadia, I HAD to use the elbow rest and felt off center from the steering wheel.

The dash pack is entirely different. Cascadia is actual gages, Columbia isn't. Layout is more "intuitive" in the Cascadia.

Cascadia has cruise and jake controls on the steering wheel. I REALLY miss theses.

Columbia's I looked at mostly had mesh covers on the bunk storage. Cascadia like the Century has doors. I liked the overheads on the Cascadia a lot more than my Century.

I know the cab is a LOT quieter in the Cascadia than any other truck I have driven. When you can have a conversation with a rider and not have to feel like your yelling, that's something.

I loved the air-ride AirTek suspension on my Cascadia I drove. When I found a Century with it, I was even more tickled. Spring steering sucks.

Those are the differences I can think of off the top of my head.
