I've made up my mind, i will be going to Central reefer to start my career as a professional truck driver, and i wouldn't mind meeting somebody to go through school with and possibly starting off as a team driver after training. I want to leave within the second week of Feb. Any takers????

Don't forget to work on those endorsements! You won't need some of that stuff with Central, but you may in the future if you see a good opportunity. Enjoy Utah; I've hauled acid out there from the East Coast and also hauled loads out of the copper mines west of there. Best wishes.

Thank you, Chinatown. I have had a whole bunch of OSHA certified HAZMAT training. I DO plan on getting a HAZMAT endorsement!

Actually, I am pre hire for CR and already... just graduated, but I am having a bit of doubts because of how hard they push the lease program...

I am worried that if you don´t lease you will get a truck that will be breaking down a lot and if you lease and you don´t do teams or train you will not make the payments. Also, I don´t like that they lease trucks that are not brand new and near the warranty expeiration, but that is not the issue... I don´t want to lease PERIOD. and if you don´t lease you cannot be a trainer if later you want to be one.

Also, FORCED per diem... I don´t like companies that feel they are entitled to do as they please with MY paycheck... I am looking into MAY, they seem to be more flexible
