Can I reset the fuel sensor level?

    I resently went to the Volvo Dealer to get the airbag light reset. After leaving I noticed the the fuel level said empty. I knew I had half tanks when I brought it in. So after checking I still had half tanks. Now when I have full tanks it reads at halfs. Can I reset them or do I need to bring it back in to have them reset them agian? Oh forgot it's a 06 Volvo 780.

    Nope it now only read empty to half. Now I just caluculate milage. And the distance to empy dosn't work either. Computer is just reading sensor wrong.

    Worked going in and didn't work coming out. It sounds like something Volvo did. I would take it back.

    Don't think there's a Volvo in captivity that the fuel gauge works properly all the time. Had 3 replaced on my '06, 2 so far on this '12. I don't find it such a big deal now as much as it is annoying.

    Thnaks everyone, All I different Volvo dealer as I'll never go back to that one.........Shoty workmanship to say the least.
