My first week wiith Metropolitan

As regional driver out of Ohio I'm curious what kind of money I'm looking at bringing home a week

I see Metropolitan trucks a lot at CAMPBELL SOUP in Napoleon,Oh. Their equiptment looks good and is late model Freightliner Cascadias.

 

Thanks. How much of it is no touch freight?

 

I was there years ago, pretty much, the only thing I didn't like was the way they pay!! High rate for runs under like 400 miles (don't quite remember the actual figure) I always got like a 380 mile run but had to go 50 miles to pick it up!! So, that put me over 400 and I got the lower cpm!!! Only got the higher rate 2 times the entire time I was there!!!

 

How much of their freight is no touch?

 

Did they hair test u, I hear that they only do that on Mondays not in Wednesday any truth behind this, that what Tina told me..

 

Trying to figure out is there any truth behind what they are telling me about only hair testing on Mondays and not Wednesdays anyone know anything about this.

 

At $700 a week I'd be looking for another company especially with medical and dental insurance costs increasing in the upcoming year
