Recently aquired an amp with basically no info about it. Looks to be a heavy duty copper board with four 2sc2879 transistors. Thinking probably a fat boy from the box design but it could be a xforce. Definitely class c. Wondering about input amps and what I should expect as output. I have a few setups I could push it with.
Unspecified and amplified

Run 8 gauge wire directly to the battery. Drive 2.5 watts dead key into it and no more than 70 watts swing into it. Post pics.

Ten.
Ive already got the wire running for my other amps. I figure ill use the magnum with its adjustable power to get an idea. I can start at one watt and hold a deadkey and slowly dial it up. I was hoping I could push it with my Rm driver and run my little cobra to it. The driver/kicker dies about 110/120 on my cobra though. To much? -
That 2 pill doesn't need a driver amp. Just drive that Cobra into it. Get a small reliable meter. The Workman 201S will do just fine and aren't high. Set your deadkey at 2-3 and let the radio swing into it.

DA 100 watt amp is good to drive a four pill.
Otherwise you can drive the four pill with
an export on high (8 watts dead key)
Swing to 70.
Go to xforce web site and see what they recommend
to drive there four pill. -
He claims it to be a four pill without a driver pill.

I read the starting thread wrong!! Lol, yes swing 125 max into it. You'll see about 900-1000 out of it. I though he said 2 instead of 4. My bad!!!!

A Galaxy 94HP is perfect for a 4 pill. But yes, swing 125 max into the 4 pill and that bad boy will stroll. Since its a 4 pill, run 6 gauge wire instead of 8.
