as long as they don't try to turn while going so fast they're upright.........
i reckon they keep the bulls down low and the skinnies up top and hope the ones up top don't stampede left or right -
I deliver to tyson and see lots of bullhaulers everyday either on the road or at tyson, these drivers actually are slow and cautious.Guess it depends where. If you're on a open hwy with 75 mph speed then yes they pass trks like they're sitting still. Also I guess cows can only be on the trk for 8 hrs so some go from feedlot to feedlot and some from feedlot to the packing house.

Cattle haulers pack the livestock in tight as possible where they won't move so the truck won't tip over.
SHC Thanks this. -
Wrong. When i hauled them there was always plenty of room left even after putting 50k in the wagon. Pack them too tight & you risk them getting down & tromped to death.
You definitely don't want them too tight in the summer.aiwiron, BullJockey and 25(2)+2 Thank this. -
Yes, if you don't know what you're doing you can put one on its side pretty easily... Not any yahoo with a CDL can manage that...Last edited: Feb 3, 2013
Jake The Bullhauler, BullJockey, 7-UP and 1 other person Thank this. -
You cant pack them in like sardines, They still have room to move, and lean into turns...Jake The Bullhauler and aiwiron Thank this.

Yea but the longer they're in there the more that can go wrong, and the more money comes out of the drivers pocket. Least that's how it works up here anyway. Guys hate them texas loads that load at 8am headed back to NE because they're running in the heat all day losing weight. Don't know much about cow mobilin but #### if the insurance wasn't an issue, and I wasn't going to be leaving for so long you can bet your ### I'd be pulling a bull wagon.

True, but they gotta get from the ranches in the east to the feedlots out west somehow, they will lose quite a bit of weight on the way but if you know what you're doing it doesn't hurt them at all unless there was something wrong with them before hand......
