Google conestoga tarps they make a system for LTL and city it'll be your best bet more than likely even though it's pricycominghomesc Thanks this.

Conestoga's are great but you need to maintain them well and follow the manufacturers instructions on care and use. If you haul anything that has grease, oil leaking, or small bits of metal such as metal filings or nuts 'n bolts it will get into the wheels and the track which will foul up your kit.
In short they are great when they work and are looked after, otherwise they are a pain after a couple of years.cominghomesc Thanks this. -
I would be moving lumber 2 or 3 loads per day, that is one of the reasons for wanting a tarping system to cut down on the time it takes to tarp the loads.

Make sure you get the wider system then. the one that bolts onto the outside of your rail. Otherwise you only get exactly 96" inside the curtain and this is a pain when hauling lumber. The curtain gets caught up when your rolling it if the bundles are not perfectly stacked. Some companies also use 50" bundles which means your stuck. You also want to make sure you get the maximum inside height possible. Many systems only have a 7'10 clearance inside. Depends on the height of your trailer deck to keep it under 13'6". You also lose about 1' at the front of the trailer because you can't push the load right up without fouling the ratchets or rods that close up the front of the curtain.
Hope this helps you a bit.cominghomesc Thanks this. -
conastoga trailers work great if watch what your doing, they are very pricey, our last retrofit cost us about $20k but is very nice to operate, even carrying lumber tho you still need to attention to edges and corners as they will rip your curtain. put a layer of padding down before strapping is well worth the time it will be a lot cheaper them repairs. clean tracks will important also

I really like the Fastrak Rolling Tarps by Tarpstop, I'm really not sure the price of this kind of set up as I think in varies per trailer? Here is a link and video
