I would do van first, get use to the career first then upgrade to a skateboard.

I waited 2 days for a non smoker. If I were to do flatbed I'd do it right out the gate. You'll pull a van more than once in flatbed. If you can handle flatbed then you can pretty much pull anything Roehl has to offer. The only thing van would teach you different than flatbed would be tandems vs a spread axle backing.

Out of the four of us who finished up Phase One in Ellenwood on Monday (7th) three are heading out with their trainers this morning. We all got our assignments yesterday but I may have to wait one more day to launch out on Phase Two.

Bigdubber and pa musky Thank this.

Oh well, my trainer fell through ... he was a smoker. (The system had him identifyed as non-smoker.) It's just that after 56 years aboard this planet, I'm not interested in taking up second-hand smoke now!

Hoping tomorow brings good news. This is a nice hotel but it's time to get this show on the road!

    Bigdubber Thanks this.

Still baffles me why anyone would spend that kinda money on a pack of cigs. To me its a massive waste of money.

Yeah, I certainly indulged in plenty of unwise activities in the past, especially in younger days. However, I count my blessings I never experienced that addiction.

I smoked a lot when I was on the road, it's when I got off the road that finally made me quit.
