I've definitely noticed it among the van division drivers, not so much of the flatbedders...but this guy was an exception.

I will when there's a 3rd lane!Logan76 Thanks this. -
I'm sure Koch and Yellow would have loved a 3rd lane where we all were....none was to be found.....

I had a hirshbach ( however the hell it's spelled) driver get all worked up at me a few months ago, I was running about 75or so in the hammer lane when he put his blinker on to come over about a car length in front of me, I never backed out of it, apparently I was supposed to slam on breaks to let him out so he could hold me up for 20 minutes trying to pass another truck 1/2 mph slower than him, he was giving me the bird and hanging out the window yelling when I blew his doors off....
Giggles the Original and Logan76 Thank this. -
To me (of course, you realize I'm fantasizing at this point!), if I had a truck that would run that fast, this scenario would be my biggest concern. Drivers who drive their rigs like most four-wheelers drive....that is, not looking more than 5 feet outside the area of their own vehicle. Having a 62er, I'm looking sometimes a half-mile back if I know it'll take me a minute to pass Prime (or anyone else who is slower than me....).freedhardwoods and Bayle Thank this.

But three lefts do
48Packard, Mr Ed and freedhardwoods Thank this. -
Oh, it makes me madder than anything, I wish all of them were like you, But, unfortunately it's rare... Even though my truck will run I still know just as much of what's going on behind me as I do in front... -
BINGO!!! We have a winner!!
I'll back off on a hill, if the speed difference isn't drastic, if I catch a driver heavier than me but cruising faster on the flat. Why play leapfrog for the next hour? -
AMEN! Playing leapfrog gains nothing and just adds to the number of potentially dangerous maneuvers (lane changes).Josh_B Thanks this.

Isn't that the greatest? They wait till the last possible second then just try and whip that sob out there. Gordon just needed to get past that Prime truck in the worst way because Gordon needed to be first at the truckstop 2 miles down the road.
