    Perhaps.

I don't sweat weigh stations. I run legal, scale any questionable loads, and keep my equipment in shape. I don't know what all the fuss is about regarding the current status of a 'chicken house'.

Never gotten pulled in for snow load.

Or had to just deal with an ornery DOT agent.

The more you run across then, not a matter of if, just WHEN you will be inspected.

Do you mean scales or weigh stations? That first link said weigh stations, but gives the location of scales at fuel stations.

If it's scales, well, there you go too.

Funny what you find when you are playing with google maps.

I guess after a few years in the seat and a few run-ins with the right Officials some opinions might be changed.
