    Feds Set To Mandate "Black Box" Data Recorders In Every Car And Truck
    They have had it in cars for a long time. I think its just big brother because CAT has a program to track everything an engine does including where it is located. My wife worked setting up the system 11 years ago with ORBCOM a sattelite company. Our government is getting more and more paranoid.

    Just another thing to control the ppl.But on the flip side maybe more and more 4 wheelers will get caught hitting a semi and get charged for it instead of blaming the trks.That black box don't lie.

    I doubt it.... they seem to always find a way to blame a truck driver for an accident.

    if the government really gave a #### about the safety of people, they would have imposed speed limitations on cars 20 years ago. the computers in the cars have been able to do this for well more than 20 years.

    when they mandate it,force me to put it in my truck.....thats the day i park it in the middle of i-95,get out and start walking.they can shove their politcal b.s. up their arse sideways along with my rig.:biggrin_25516:
