I work for CRST Malone. We have a great opportunity for new Owner Operators. We have a 2000.00 sign on bonus that includes 1500.00 going towards securement equipment.
We also rent trailers and every trailer has a head board. 3 day orientation.
Please give me a call.
Thanks,
Joseph Gann

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

How much for Trailer rent? How much for securement? What do all the deductions add upto before the truck owner gets any money? What all bonds and other little fee's do you have that takes away from the owner operator? I have been "told" alot of your freight on the in house load board is only pulling $1.35-$1.90 per mile depending on which agent has it listed. Is this true?

Trailer rent is 185 per week includes maintenance. 75.00 performance bond deducted for 10 weeks. 75.00 deducted for 29 weeks for plates. 2.00 per mile + average for over 1 1/2 years. Agents in chicago area are pulling 4.00 plus per loaded mile. Other fee's such as Occ/ACC insurance aren't required but might be required by your state.
Thanks,

So ive recently purchsed a truck and am in the process of looking for a company to sign on to. I live in the wi/mn/ia tri state, is there any (good) freight coming into and out of my area? Is there an age limit on tractors? What is the performance deduction for? Being from my area, where would i go to orientation? Do you sell used securement equipment? Deduct for the remainder after the sign on bonus or do i need to pay up front?
and now for some less informed questions: do you have an jnsurance program for the truck? Is that something im responsible for or is it paid by the company? How often are settlements?
im sure i will come up with many more questions but we'll start here, i look forward to your reply. Thank you. -
Im also in the process of looking to lease on with someone. How's the freight in the greensboro, NC area. Can you please give me a ball park figure?

I contacted Mr. Gann by phone. Too bad Mr. Gann did not have the
patience to listen and hung up on me. I have a 4 million mile safe
driver team with pilot escort. I guess Malone doesn't need or want
us and I don't want to work for a company that employs someone so
rude.nikmirbre Thanks this. -
If you go to a restaurant that everyone recommended to you but you have a bad experience bc your waitress was in a bad mood, do you immediately turn your nose up at the restaurant as a whole? Or do you realize that there may have been something going on and maybe try the restaurant again and ask for a different waitress.
just sayin -
is the owners name Tom Malone?
-
What was he rude about?
-
What are your truck requirements?
