What can I say its a pretty good company but they have an odd group of policies like there idle policy if you reach a certian point they'll say lower it or you will be terminated? Come on thats not the way to get drivers to work hard for you esspecially if your a good runner. But thats the only real problem I see as far as miles go they do pretty good by me.Also the fuel solution is to help them thrive and stay in buissness so I understand that.:biggrin_25523:

The fun has not begun yet. Just wait til you start running the south this summer. :biggrin_25511:You will want to idle the truck to be comfrtable so you can sleep. :biggrin_25511:But you will try to sleep without it. Because if you do run the truck hell awaits you!:yes2557: You will swat bugs all night while sweat rolls off of your skin.:biggrin_25510: you won't get any sleep.:biggrin_25512: And in the morning you will have real bad BO!:yes2557:All because the cheap ### that owns PTL didn't want to invest in apu's til very recently.:yes2557: Isn't that nice?:yes2557: The winter is fun too!:biggrin_2551:

Your post might be better served on a thread that is not over a year old and to people that has not been on here in over a year.

I plan to put as much info on as many places as i can find. This is the only way I can legally fight back. I may reach someone on a new thread or on an old thread. If I can save another driver the trouble of going thry what i and many others have, then my goal is accmplished.:yes2557: I´m always looking for a forum.:biggrin_25525:

Actually, most will not see the thread because after seeing once, they will ignore other comments.

The fact you were fired from PTL does not way heavy with their thoughts about what you say. It does not mean you are truthful or not. But things go further when calmy stated.

It would probably be more beneficial to start a new thread and address calmy the problems you faced when there. Heresay of what other drivers do is not a plus.

I am sure there is much you can add to the comments here, but keep in mind. There are many drivers that have been there for a long time. In fact one in my town is very happy with them. This may change in the future.

And remember also, any comments you make here, you can be legally held responsible for. There are laws such as libel that come into play.

If you will notice, the problems I an refering to are all first hand knowledge. Also I strongly recomend that all drivers go to the truck stops and discuss the companies they are considering driving for. They should get as many opinions as possible. to see if there is a pattern. if one driver says he´s happy with a company. But 20 say they are looking for another job and do not recomend their co. Then it´s safe to say there is a problem. As for as my honesty, I am far from the first person to tell of the problems of PTL. Check their words to mine. However, I´m starting to wonder about how many writers on this site are actually recruiters trying to do damage control. I say this because certain writers do not feel like truckers... I´ve been driving for a long time. I also worked as a dispatcher. So I know when I´m communicating with a driver.:yes2557: Staff tend to be a lot calmer and dismiss the misfortunes of drivers. They Tend not to show passion because it was not their hind end that went broke, lost their home, missed their kids birthday, got thee short end of the stick over and over again at the hands of the company.:biggrin_25512: Drivers tend to be more passionate and colorfull. Know what I mean? :yes2557::biggrin_25516::biggrin_25510::biggrin_2551::biggrin_2552::biggrin_2553::biggrin_2555:
