LAA Trans, Lugansk got 10 Renault Premium (Mack Quantum) with D11. Seems to me this engine got no early problems of D13 like sleeves, cyl. heads... Good thing, engine is good pn MPG, better the D13. It is 400 and 420 HP, with DEF

Dart has the VNM 670 model in their fleet, in addition to the original 630's. You can see the truck I have in my avatar, and if I replace it wheelbase and maneuverability are very top concerns in my operations. The Volvo website(which is more of less useless) has no info on this specific model. I believe you can get either the D11 or the D13 in the VNM series. The BBC dimension is about 12" shorter than the usual VNL(Volvo NORMAL Length-according to one of the manufacturer reps at the Louisville Truck show). To enhance that some Dart trailers have a 42" or 48" pinset so the overall length is as short as possible. Not enough of a difference for me to consider the truck.
mp4694330 Thanks this. -
I cant really understand why no Volvo FH and FM cabovers in USA. May be really usefull, especially euro combo, like Swift Argosy
-
Yes, Volvo website is terrible - same format in every country.
Just sad, they 2nd manufacturer of trucks worldwide. -
Isn't that true?
Maybe they did market research and don't see niche for cabovers.Even Freightliner stopped selling Argosy some years ago. -
I think they keep making Argosy. Got this pic last month.
